Listservs

Elementary level libraries: onelementary@wnylrc.org . Elementary libraries should use it for any subject or multiple copy requests which they have.

Elementary level people should not use the UB listserv anymore for ILL requests.

If using the listserv to request multiple copies, please first check the SLS Union Catalog to make sure there are potentially enough copies in this system to fill your request. For example if you want 20 copies and only find five in the union catalog, then do not place the request, because obviously, it will not be filled.

This might not apply, depending upon your email system: If you get a message from this list and want to reply to the person that sent it, hit reply, if you want to reply to the list then hit reply to all. Please do not hit “reply to all” if you are saying thank you, or sending a note that only applies to one person.

Please call Molly if you post to the list and it bounces back, or gives you a problem. Thanks. And as always, your input is welcome, email or call me if you have a suggestion or concern.

Everyone can use the following listserv for library related information, and secondary level people can also use it for ILL: onbsls-list@listserv.buffalo.edu .

When using either listserv for Interlibrary Loan, please put ILL and the grade level in the subject line of the email. Also, please do not reply to the list to say you can not fill a request and do not send thank yous on the listserv.
