Orleans/Niagara BOCES School Library System Mission Statement

The mission of the Orleans/Niagara BOCES School Library System is to help implement the New York State Learning Standards by improving information access for its member libraries' staff and students. The SLS will assist participants in becoming Electronic Doorway Libraries as well as encourage school library media specialists to empower themselves to become instructional facilitators in their schools.
